Spare Tyre

We aim to take two spares with us, which should mean we won't have to get involved with fixing any puctures on the fly, although we will do somer basic practise before we go. You can see from this picture that the tyre does not have its weight hanging from the back door, but rather from the swing away spare tyre carrier. If the tyre is attatched to the door only, this puts pressure on the back door hinges and can lead to sore toes!

We are looking at getting bike carrieir attached to this spare tyre also. People have advised against it, but we feel that the positives outway the negatives.
