Holland - 1st April 2009

Apparently Holland has some very interesting tourist attractions. We have decided not to visit Amsterdam whilst here, as we have both been there several times, and can always go back. We have a rough itinerary, being Haarlem, Edam, Frisian Islands, Weerribben National Park, Hoge Veluwe National Park and finally Nijmegen.

Like all the counties we visit we don't want to get caught up in a rigid itinerary and will just use this a rough route to circle the country. We have found a great camping website, which has one English page, which lists all the campsites that are 'natural'. You also need to apply for a membership that cost 9 euros. We must remember to do this!

When we leave Holland we are heading south to Munich (most probably) to pick up our carnet from the ADAC.
