Website Design

After staring at the chocolate brown design for two weeks I have updated the colour scheme to a pastel version chosen by Jenny. Hopefully the design has progressed a little. It is slow work learning web design, but I am getting there .........

Land Rover Progress

Having read over 100 000 (well it feels like it!) websites on what sort of vehicle we will need I am starting to form a mental picture. I think we are looking for a Defender 110 200/300Tdi.
Basically we want a vehicle we can sleep inside, as well as place a roof tent above, and an engine that is repairable across the world. Apparently the latter fact draws us to either a Toyota Land Cruiser or a Land Rover. Obviously for sentimental reasons we are plucking for a Land Rover.

The 200/300 tdi engines are without too much electric complications, so we will be hoping for one of those. We are hoping to find something with less than 100k miles on the clock.

All this preplanning could, of course, be thrown aside for the right vehicle at the right time. I am watching eBay daily, and the perfect vehicle appeared for about a day, only to be withdrawn! My eagle eyes are now watching very carefully.

Charity Progress

We have contacted a couple of charities and will hopefully be able to name our preferred charity soon. If they get back to us that is :)
